Studio Director Supervisor

Job OverView

Manage day to day studio directors’ services to ensure smooth running and solve any occurring problems

Schedule crew availability in shifts and assign them to perform required tasks

Ensure that studio directors operate within a clearly defined standards and policies that allows them to operate with efficient capacity utilization

Provide advice to studio directors so as to provide the best "on screen" look

Provide technical advice to staff to ensure best “ on screen “ look

Continuously update procedures to improve productivity

When needed perform the typical studio directors functions which include:

  • Coordinate with all concerned in the news production team in his/her assigned shift and bulletins to ensure all relevant components of bulletins are available for transmission and that all staff and equipment needed for bulletin are ready
  • Supervise preliminary preparations for production process (such as hair and make up, camera in position, proper lightning, …)
  • Issue order to give live
  • Monitor the live broadcasting process.
  • Give clear and coherent directions to staff when being on air

Liaise with Presentation to ensure smooth running of the bulletin

Experience  on TV studio  operations

Experience on TV visual and audible presentation.

Experience in TV technologies and tools such as lighting, shooting, videoing, editing, floor management, Auto-cuing, etc.

Ability to organize resources
