You will work together with the Senior Creative Manager, Director of Brand and Creative and Marketing team to execute social media content strategy for our social media channels.
You will produce and post content that market our programs and on-air personalities; information that will educate our viewers/users; or tell the story of Bloomberg Asharq and the people behind the screens.
You will create visually engaging statistical infographics, with a good sense of layout and typography.
You will need to take a camera and shoot, and also use archive footage to edit video pieces that tell your video story.
You should be familiar with the best practices and trends of each social media channel
You should be able to work in a team, working closely with on air teams to translate on-air content for online channels.
You should also be able to work independently and be self-motivated to produce top quality content. You should also maintain a professional attitude when changes are required
You will keep yourself updated on the latest social media trends and develop skills necessary to keep pace with both social technological advancements and changing business needs. As such, a natural sense of curiosity and urgency is required.
Be flexible to work in non-official hours for breaking news and special projects.
Proven experience in social media content creation: 3 years with a strong reel of work comprising of graphical and video content, infographics, text animation, GIFs, memes.
Languages (written and spoken): English and Arabic (Required)
Demonstrate strong knowledge of all social media channels.
Basic knowledge in marketing, social analytics and audience identification.
Required: Comprehensive knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere and possess basic understanding of other design software, plugins, techniques, and approaches
Exhibit calmness and professionalism under work pressure and short turnaround projects.
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
