Develop Marketing strategies for the Channel that meets corporate requirements as well as articulates the relevant strategies for each of the Channel’ brands
Ensure buy-in to strategy across the Channel covering all platforms, particularly with managers and units’ heads and that relevant elements of the strategy are fully communicated and updated.
Review the Channel’s content and marketing strategies including positioning of the channel against competition, and defining target audience and ensure they are consistent with the Corporate content and marketing strategies
Utilize marketing research analysis to define audience’s viewing habits, needs and expectations
Coordinate between channel marketing and Commercial functions to define branding strategy and agree on the channel marketing strategy
Ensure the existence of proper setups for the channels marketing manager to coordinate with sales agent to enable effective marketing of the channel
Monitor the Channel’s monthly audience performance ( rating and market share) and coordinate with the channel’s SSD about means for improvements
Monitor all channels related sales performance and commercial issues that may arise and advice related managers on means to improve advertising performance
Lead a structured and focused client development campaign to bring new advertising leads to the channel’s platforms and convert them to sales to meet relevant targets
Coordinate with commissioned external agencies
Marketing management experience
Marketing experience in the Arab world
Hands on experience of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
Experience in Media and TV production
Experience in Production best practices
Experience in understanding and developing production strategies in reference to the Channel's targeted audience behaviors, characteristics & trends, and competition
Experience in ideas, scripts & all content assessment
Hands on experience about publicity programs, copy writing, media habits research, media planning and media buying
