You will work together with the Senior Creative Manager and Director of Brand and Creative to execute 3D designs that challenges what has been done before. Content would include, but not limited to, branding, designing opening titles, studio set, modeling, logos, texturing, rigging, lighting, and camera animation.
Maintaining the brand identity, and have a great eye for brand extensions with our programs.
You will create, manage, and optimize 3D assets (organic, environments, hard surface, and more) and should possess strong knowledge and experience in materials/shader/look development.
Your work will also comprise of compositing, visual effects, tracking, animation, brand idents, show openers, and virtual set modeling. As such, you must understand deformers and in-depth knowledge of virtual sets for broadcast.
You should be able to work in a team, working closely with the creative and production team to deliver world class designs.
You may be required to assist the Viz team for 3D support.
Be a team player, and provide support and leadership to the Motion and 3D Team.
You should have complete ownership of your piece, seeing it through to the end including audio and visual sweetening. As such, you should have a good sense of sound design and how to visually finish a piece. Additionally, you should also be aware of file format technicalities, including codec, raw video files, transcoding and compression.
Be flexible to work in non-official hours for breaking news and special projects.
Proven 7 years experience in 3D/ Motion GFX broadcast design or similar fields
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic/Multimedia Design, Fine Art, or similar field of study
Comprehensive knowledge of 3D and other design software. Required 3D max, 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, Vray, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign. Preferred: Rhino 3D, Unreal engine.
Languages (written and spoken): English (Required) Arabic (Preferable)
Exhibit calmness and professionalism under work pressure and short turnaround projects.
You must be able to understand and take directions and make design changes when required by your direct reports.
Ability to communication ideas verbally and visually.
Creative-thinking for new ideas, pro-active for new projects, never-say-die attitude to completion.
Be a team player and help out the team when needed.
At times, you will need to work individually. As such, a high level of self-motivation is required to complete a piece to a high level of quality. Other times, you may be required to work with multiple stakeholders, with changing requirements. As such, you will need to be excellent in organizational and communication skills, and to keep a professional attitude when changes are required
You should keep yourself updated on the latest technological trends and develop skills necessary to keep pace with both graphical advancement and changing business needs. As such, a natural sense of curiosity and urgency is required.
