Job OverView

Maintain inventory records accuracy and quality, and prepare for stock take when required.

Effectively operate the computerized stock inventory, keeping account of receipts, issues and stock holdings.

Assess and report material shortages

Assess and report stock discrepancies

Ensure all goods and equipment are stored in a safe manner and arranged in a logical, orderly, clearly identified and easily retrievable system.

Protect the store and its contents against fire and theft.

Maintain records of minimum and maximum recommended stock holdings, regularly reviewing these levels and taking account of demand trends.

Maintain adequate stock levels

Carry out physical quality checks of items received ensuring that these conform to the order requirements and there are not obvious physical defects.

Assist in establishment of procedures for control and protection of items regulated by Channel’s polices.

Undertake physical stock checks, record details of comparative physical stock holdings against recorded stock holdings, minimum and maximum levels and physical condition of items.

Make Reports as required
